Fletcher Roberts had an 8-year AFL career with the Western Bulldogs, where he played 51 games. Roberts was a dour defender who played a significant role in the Bulldogs 62-year drought breaking Premiership in 2016. Fletch is the only MJFC player to win an AFL Premiership.

Robert Flower, played with the Melbourne Football Club from 1973-1987. Flower played 272 games and kicked 315 goals for the AFL Club before retiring. He is a AFL Hall Fame member, MFC Hall of Fame member and MFC Team of the Centuary (wing).
