Fletcher Roberts

Fletcher Roberts had an 8-year AFL career with the Western Bulldogs, where he played 51 games. Roberts was a dour defender who played a significant role in the Bulldogs 62-year drought breaking Premiership in 2016. Fletch is the only MJFC player to win an AFL Premiership.

Robert Flower

Robert Flower, played with the Melbourne Football Club from 1973-1987. Flower played 272 games and kicked 315 goals for the AFL Club before retiring. He is a AFL Hall Fame member, MFC Hall of Fame member and MFC Team of the Centuary (wing).

Matthew Robbins

Matthew Robbins AFL career spanned from 1996 to 2007 accumulating 146 games and 135 goals with the Geelong and Western Bulldogs Football Clubs. Robbins was a hard-nosed small forward who kicked 76 goals across the 2005 & 2006 seasons.

Bob Johnston 29 August 1929 – 15 December 2012 was an Australian rules footballer who played 30 games with Melbourne in the Victorian Football League.

Ken Jungwirth

Ken Jungwirth a former player for Melbourne & Carlton in the VFL. Ken notably kicked the winning goal for Murrumbeena in the 1963 Premiership.

Darren Kappler 

Darren Kappler born 23 January 1965 played 187 games including 152 goals for Fitzroy, Sydney and Hawthorn. Kapps was the senior playing coach in Murrumbeena’ s 2003 senior premiership.

Steve Wright born 6 March 1961 played 246 games including 247 goals for South Melbourne/Sydney. Steve was a 2 time swans best & fairest winner and in the swans team of the Century. Steve although not a Murrumbeena player he was the Senior coach from 2014-2017 in which Beena made 2 senior grand finals.

Todd Elton

Todd Elton (born 29 April 1993) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
